Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Float Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health pharmacy network. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision, covering Tampa and surrounding areas from a home site.

Responsibilities include stocking, data entry, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, while delivering strong customer service and teamwork across sites.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Florida.
• Access to reliable transportation with a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Cover all sites in the Tampa, New Port Richey, Clearwater, St. Pete, Lakeland and Winterhaven areas.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fill prescription orders and obtain verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist the Pharmacist with pharmacy functions and compliance with federal/state rules.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Other duties as assigned.
