Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ seeks a mid-career Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and test analog and mixed-signal electronics for telemetry and flight termination systems. You will serve as REA for designs, develop PCB-level electronics, and ensure compliance with program requirements in a fast-paced environment at onsite facilities.

Required is a STEM degree with 5+ years (or advanced degree with 3+ years) and experience with MATLAB/ECAD tools; DoD Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience or a related advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with electronics design focusing on systems/subsystems.
• Experience creating electrical design specifications and analog electronics design.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document analog and mixed-signal electronics circuitry.
• Assist in designing electronics at subsystem or PCB level.
• Track PCB development through requirements definition to integration testing.
• Be the Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for FTS and/or TM designs.
• Prepare analysis and documentation to verify compliance with program and performance requirements.
