Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Flight Test Instrumentation Technician III in California to support a range of advanced fighter aircraft. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modify systems, repair cables, and troubleshoot instrumentation using schematics and test equipment.

Responsibilities include operational checks, on-aircraft instrumentation work, and prototyping electronic assemblies. Mentoring junior techs and contributing to process improvements are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Requires related electronics and avionics knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and soldering capabilities.
• ISCET certification and security clearance eligibility are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain flight test instrumentation and ground support equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate systems on aircraft and subsystems.
• Fabricate and repair cable harnesses and electronic assemblies.
• Provide feedback for complex aircraft modifications and improvements.
• Mentor lower-level technicians and offer on-site guidance.
