Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to apply aerospace engineering principles to project development, execution, and advisory services. The role focuses on V&V strategies, test programs, and armament system performance against requirements at the AFNWC/NDB site at Eglin AFB, Florida.

The position requires extensive flight-test background, leadership experience, and a DoD program office pedigree, with an active Secret clearance and the potential for Top Secret eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must have U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Flight test experience 8–10 years with 5+ years in leading teams and test management.
• Flight experience as pilot, WSO, NAV, or FTE total of 5+ years military or civilian.
• Must work well independently and in a team environment.
• Must be familiar with DoW Acquisition processes or project management principles.
• Must have program office experience.
• Must possess an active Secret clearance (contingent on SAP approval), with eligibility to acquire Top Secret.

Responsibilities

• Verifies tasks including analysis of resultant weapons fly-out data to analyze accuracy of M&S results.
• Designs and develops advanced test programs.
• May lead the design and development of test plans and safety plans.
• Writes advanced highly complex test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability.
• Evaluates the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications.
• Develops advanced highly complex test simulations
