Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; additional experience may substitute for education.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Knowledge of development testing and evaluation for weapon systems.
• Familiarity with integrated air-vehicles, ground systems, and support equipment.
• Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders and mediate demands for test resources.
• Self-starting attitude and proactive in learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Set criteria for test documentation and reporting of technical information.
• Perform technical assessments of test guidelines, methodologies, data sets, and reports.
• Present testing strategies to Safety Review Boards and Test Approval Boards.
• Provide technical oversight for testing and assessment of major weapon programs.
• Formulate test planning documents for weapons programs.
• Predict future needs for test assets and range facilities.
• Coordinate efforts with program offices and lead contractors.
