Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Test Engineer Specialist to apply advanced aerospace engineering concepts to V&V, test and evaluation programs at Eglin AFB, FL. The role requires strong leadership in test management and hands-on experience with weapon systems and subsystems.

The ideal candidate will have DoD acquisition familiarity, experience with integrated air-vehicles, and a track record in planning, coordinating, and executing complex verification activities.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s Engineering degree or related technical discipline.
• Active TS DoW security clearance required.
• 8–10 years Air Force Flight test experience with 5+ years in leading teams.
• Experience in fixed-wing/bomber and weapons integration preferred.
• Familiarity with DoD Acquisition processes or project management principles.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, coordinate, execute, and analyze V&V, test and evaluation programs.
• Develop V&V and T&E strategies and documentation (e.g. SRB, TAB).
• Perform verification tasks including analysis of flight test data to validate results.
• Oversee development and sustainment of aerospace systems and components.
