Job summary

Astrion seeks a Senior Flight Test Engineer to support the AFLCMC/HB and the Japan E-3 program at Hanscom AFB, MA. Qualifications

• Clearance: Active Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 12 years of experience, including at least 5 years supporting DoD programs, OR 15 years of experience with at least 8 years in DoD programs.

Responsibilities

• Understand and execute end-to-end test processes supporting acquisition and fielding decisions.
• Assist with designing and coordinating high-priority tests for the Japan E-3 aircraft and related systems.
• Develop and review test plans, run cards, safety docs, and test readiness reviews.
• Coordinate with multiple test organizations to plan and execute test missions for the E3 platform and labs.
• Provide test planning support to determine objectives, MOEs, and MOPs.
• Develop test scenarios for data collection and safe execution.
• Support real-time evaluation of test results and issue resolution.
• Contribute to system integration testing and hardware/software upgrades.
• Provide engineering analysis, planning, and presentation support for the program office and stakeholders.
