Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Senior Flight Test Engineer to support AFLCMC/HB with extensive flight test lifecycle expertise. The role is based at Hanscom AFB, MA, offering hybrid work arrangements and up to 20% travel, including international assignments.

The candidate will lead end-to-end test planning, execution, and data analysis for complex aircraft and systems. Ideal candidates bring DoD program experience, strong collaboration across stakeholders, and the ability to brief senior leaders on test

Qualifications

• Minimum clearance: Active Secret clearance
• Extensive experience in end-to-end Test & Evaluation lifecycle for DoD programs
• Experience coordinating contractor and government test activities for complex aircraft and systems
• Proven ability to present technical findings and brief senior leaders

Responsibilities

• Understand end-to-end test processes to support acquisition, fielding, and employment decisions
• Design, plan, coordinate, execute, and report on high-priority tests for E-3 aircraft and related systems
• Develop test plans and run cards, participate in readiness reviews, and review artifacts
• Coordinate with multiple test organizations to plan and execute test missions
• Provide test objectives, MOEs, MOPs, and safety documentation
• Perform data analysis, issue identification, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Support system integration, software/hardware upgrades, and performance evaluation
• Travel as required, including international travel
