Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Flight Test Engineer to support AFLCMC/HB and the Japan E-3 program from Hanscom AFB, MA. The role emphasizes end-to-end T&E, test planning, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple organizations.

The position requires a U.S. citizenship, a Bachelor’s degree with extensive DoD-related experience, and the ability to maintain a Secret clearance. Travel, including international assignments, is possible.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience or 15 years in DoW-related work.
• Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Understand end-to-end Test & Evaluation (T&E) process for acquisition, fielding, and decisions.
• Design, plan, coordinate, execute, and report high-priority tests for the Japan E-3 aircraft and related ground/training systems.
• Develop test plans and staff paperwork through approval processes including safety and technical reviews.
• Coordinate with multiple test organizations to plan and execute tests for the E3 platform and software integration labs.
• Provide test objectives, MOEs, and MOPs; determine maneuvers and data collection scenarios.
• Support evaluation of test results, runaway conditions, and documentation preparation.
• Support system integration and software/hardware upgrade testing.
• Provide engineering analysis, planning, and delivery support to the program office and AF agencies.
• Occasional travel, including international travel, will be required.
