Job summary

Moog is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in Buffalo, NY to lead the development and sustainment of flight control electronics. You will drive hardware design from concept to certification, creating schematics, layouts and verification plans for FCCs, ACUs and MCEs in commercial aircraft.

You will work with the Commercial Aircraft Electronics Group, collaborate across engineering teams, and participate in technical program reviews while traveling 5–10% as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, MS preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical design experience, or 7 years with MS.
• Experience with circuit modelling, layout and relevant aviation standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify and transition aviation flight hardware to market.
• Guide design phases through verification and certification.
• Create design artifacts to support requirements compliance.
• Design circuits and systems for customer applications.
• Prepare verification plans and test methods for hardware boxes.
• Travel 5–10% to support programs and customer reviews.
