Job summary

Moog in Torrance, CA is seeking a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer to lead hardware/software integration for flight-critical control systems. You will act as technical authority, guide design from concept through certification, and coordinate with customers and staff.

The role requires a BS in EE with 7+ years in design and 4+ years in electromechanical systems, plus experience with MIL-STD-461/704/810 and DO-254 verification.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years design & development experience.
• 4+ years designing/analyzing electromechanical systems.
• Experience verifying electronics assemblies per MIL-STD-461/704/810/DO-254.
• Experience developing and executing AT/HALT/ESD testing.

Responsibilities

• Represent Moog as a technical authority and project leader.
• Guide design phases through verification, certification and deployment.
• Serve as a technical reference for internal and external communications.
• Document fully verifiable electronics box level requirements within constraints.
• Translate systems requirements into electronics hardware specifications for teams.
• Develop verification plans and innovative test methods.
• Perform hardware and software integration testing and investigate anomalies.
• Prepare reports and present design decisions to customers.
• Support project planning, proposals, schedules and interfaces.
• Contribute to new product requirements through customer consultation.
