Job summary

Moog Inc in East Aurora, NY or Torrance, CA is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for the Moog Aircraft Group. You will lead electronics design across complex electromechanical systems on aircraft, owning technical decisions and ensuring cost and schedule targets.

Reporting to the Manager of Electrical Engineering, you will work with a diverse group of engineers across sites, contribute to proposals, and guide designs to meet aerospace requirements and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with the design life cycle for aircraft electronics.

Responsibilities

• Lead electronics design for complex electromechanical systems.
• Drive requirements, architecture and verification activities.
• Coach a cross-disciplinary team across multiple sites.
• Design for cost, quality and schedule targets.
• Oversee electrical analyses and tests (MATLAB/Simulink, pSpice).
• Collaborate with customers, programs and vendors on electronics design.
