Job summary

Ameren Illinois is seeking a Superintendent, Illinois Fleet Operations to lead fleet maintenance across Illinois. You will oversee safety, performance, maintenance, repairs, and reporting for ~3,300 units, ensuring regulatory readiness and strong safety culture.

The role requires extensive supervisory experience, field and office work, and collaboration with in-house and vendor teams to optimize maintenance programs and staffing across a large geographic area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Ten or more years of relevant experience (e.g., Fleet Maintenance) required.
• Four or more years of supervisory experience, preferably in Fleet Maintenance, also required.

Responsibilities

• Direct all repair and maintenance activities for approximately 3300 units in in-house and vendor areas.
• Direct all employee safety and training activities to continually enhance the safety culture.
• Ensure all Fleet Maintenance records and information required for external regulatory purposes and internal needs are accurately maintained and available.
• Maintain and develop improvements within EMPRV for maintenance activities including Sarbanes Oxley and Security requests and various department reporting.
• Responsible for hiring and onboarding of new Fleet Services co-workers.
