Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating vehicle specifications, monitoring procurement, overseeing titling/registration, and ensuring fuel and maintenance efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversees administration of vehicle operations and fleet management for the County.
• Supervises staff, develops policies, provides guidance, prepares budgets and reports.
• Recommends vehicle life cycle replacement and participates in purchases.
• Monitors purchasing process and delivery deadlines.
• Oversees vehicle titling, registration, and fleet assignment.
• Schedules emission testing and oversees fleet management software.
• Ensures efficient fuel pricing and availability for County operations.
• Assists in developing goals and evaluates division performance.
• Represents the agency at meetings and prepares confidential correspondence.
