Job summary

NAFA Fleet Management Association seeks a Manager of Fleet Operation to lead strategic fleet performance across divisions. You will oversee 150+ tractors, ensure FMCSA, DOT, IRP/IFTA compliance, and drive safety, efficiency, and cost control. A CDL A is required, with the role enabling work at multiple sites depending on location.

You will guide a team, set standards, manage budgets, and implement tech for visibility and KPIs. Travel to campuses and vendor sites will occur as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in fleet operations or transportation management.
• 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, IRP, IFTA compliance.
• Experience managing fleet budgets and vendor relations.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient with fleet tech and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute fleet strategy aligned with goals.
• Lead a team of fleet compliance and operations professionals.
• Collaborate with divisional leaders on fleet support.
• Oversee maintenance, operations and repairs for the fleet.
• Maintain full regulatory compliance across fleets.
