Amgen is seeking a strategic leader for the Fleet Operations Associate Director role based in Thousand Oaks, CA with a strong onsite preference and some remote/ hybrid options. The role leads the enterprise fleet program for the US and Puerto Rico, driving performance, vendor governance, and cost optimization while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will shape strategy, manage key partnerships, and report to senior leadership.

Competenze

• Doctorate or higher in a relevant field or equivalent experience in logistics/fleet operations
• Advanced degree with 5+ years of related experience preferred
• Experience leading large fleet operations, vendor management, and compliance programs

Mansioni

• Develop and execute multi-year fleet strategy and governance
• Lead Fleet Operations team and drive performance with KPIs
• Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations
• Own fleet program financial performance including budgeting and cost optimization
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation across fleet activities
• Oversee end-to-end fleet lifecycle from vehicle selection to disposal
• Provide data-driven insights and senior leadership reporting
