Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Minimum five years' experience in vehicle maintenance.
• Master ASE certification may substitute two years' experience.
• Competency in brakes, electrical, PMI, powertrain, and trailing equipment.
• CDL Class A preferred; heavy-duty maintenance certification valued.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, forklifts.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs or component rebuilds.
• Document maintenance work accurately in reports.
• Mentor less-experienced technicians.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company procedures.
• Carry out paint and body work as required.
• Operate vehicles safely and independently or in a team.
