Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking an A Technician in Gulfport, MS to diagnose and repair heavy and light duty trucks, including diesel, gasoline, and CNG systems. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair fleets of refuse and recycling vehicles, using onboard diagnostics and shop equipment.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience, CDL Class B preferred or the ability to obtain, and up to 7 ASE certifications or equivalent within 36 months, with strong safety discipline and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, body components and systems on heavy and light duty trucks.
• Utilize vehicle computer electronics to interpret failure modes and guide repairs.
• Maintain OSHA safety standards and complete required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles.
• Perform inspections and repairs on Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus equipment.
• Assist and guide shop technicians; maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with training and policies.
