Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to support solar project accounting, close processes, and financial reporting from our Princeton, NJ office.

In this hybrid role, you will manage month-end close, prepare GAAP-compliant statements, and collaborate with Treasury, Asset Management, and other groups to ensure accurate financial results for multiple ownership structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in general accounting.
• Knowledge of ERP accounting system.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close within set timeframes.
• Analyze income statements, balance sheets, and equity transactions for close.
• Maintain reporting templates and data queries using financial software.
• Document internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Provide accurate general ledger coding for solar projects.
• Support audits and prepare financial statements for solar projects.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Asset Management, and other teams on financial reporting.
