Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a Fixed Asset Supervisor to oversee the fixed asset accounting function and clerk activities. You will manage ledgers, tracking, depreciation, and asset dispositions while supporting timely month-end/quarter-end reporting and compliance with U.S.

GAAP and tax standards. The role requires a bachelor’s in finance or accounting and 5+ years in fixed asset accounting, with strong Excel and SAP skills.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of fixed asset accounting and monthly close experience.
• Understanding of asset capitalization standards and GAAP.
• Proficiency with Excel and SAP ERP.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of the Fixed Asset Accounting Clerk.
• Maintain fixed asset ledgers for book and tax.
• Monitor fixed asset acquisitions and disposals for rolling stock and assist with unit numbering.
• Ensure timely monthly rollforward schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Record depreciation, gains/losses on disposals, and related accounting entries.
• Support SOX 404 compliance and internal/external audits.
