Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Fixed Asset Accountant for a hybrid role in Seattle, WA. The position focuses on fixed asset accounting and ASC 842 lease accounting, with responsibilities spanning month-end close, journal entries, and cross-functional process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting (CPA preferred) and 5+ years in accounting, ideally in a public company, with ERP experience (Oracle, SAP). Hybrid work schedule includes 3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA highly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a public company.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting and ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Experience with an enterprise level ERP (Oracle, SAP).

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Perform lease accounting activities in accordance with ASC 842.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and other month-end close activities.
• Identify ways to improve accounting procedures, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and analysis.
• Contribute to accounting projects, system improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.
