Job summary

F5, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in Seattle, WA. This role will manage fixed asset accounting, lease accounting under ASC 842, and cost capitalization for internal-use software and cloud computing arrangements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on US GAAP knowledge, ERP experience (Oracle, Coupa), and a collaborative mindset to work across Procurement, IT, Legal, FP&A, and Tax.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA designation or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or high-growth environments.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, Coupa) and automation tools.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fixed assets and lease accounting lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliations.
• Manage internal-use software capitalization and cloud computing arrangements accounting.
• Collaborate with Procurement, IT, FP&A, and other departments to evaluate expenditures and document conclusions.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain SOX controls.
• Drive process improvements and automation across accounting functions.
