Job summary

F5, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. The role focuses on fixed assets, ASC 842 lease accounting, internal-use software capitalization under ASC 350-40, and CCA implementation costs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on US GAAP experience, ERP tools (Oracle EBS, Coupa), and familiarity with LeaseQuery and Blackline, with a collaborative mindset across Finance and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA designation or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years accounting experience in public or high-growth companies.
• Experience closing books, SOX controls, and internal reporting.
• ERP systems experience: Oracle/Coupa, reconciliation tools, lease accounting tools, AI/automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fixed assets and lease accounting lifecycle.
• Manage internal-use software and cloud computing cost capitalization.
• Collaborate with Procurement, IT, FP&A, Legal, Real Estate/Facilities, and Tax.
• Support international accounting and monthly close processes.
• Drive standardization, efficiency, and automation in accounting workflows.
• Support internal and external audits and internal controls.
