Job summary

Liveops is seeking a Senior Five9 Systems Engineer to own and evolve our cloud-based contact center platform. You will be the technical authority for Five9 architecture, integrations, and authentication, mentoring teammates and documenting solutions for long-term resilience.

This role focuses on enterprise-scale configuration, CRM/API integrations, SSO/OAuth, and trusted vendor relationships, ensuring secure, reliable operations and clear runbooks that reduce key-person risk while enabling

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
5-8+ years administering Five9 in high-volume blended contact center.
CRM-telephony integrations and API troubleshooting.
Understanding of SIP, call routing, and dialer rules.
SSO/OAuth configuration, certificates, and production auth troubleshooting.
Ability to read, understand, and create clear technical docs, runbooks, SOPs.
Strong written and verbal communication when engaging clients and stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with vendors and leadership on complex topics.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain Five9 platform including IVR workflows and dialer settings.
Lead Five9 integration troubleshooting with CRM and business apps (API/session-level).
Manage SSO/OAuth configs and certificate renewals in production.
Develop training materials and coordinate team training on new features.
Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and technical docs.
Provide call system support, including after-hours testing and issue resolution.
Mentor teammates and lead knowledge-transfer sessions.
Establish strong vendor relationships and report platform health to stakeholders.
