Job summary
Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineer focused on firmware to join our Irvine team. You will develop and maintain firmware for Sentry Tower systems, interfacing with hardware and software stakeholders from Air Defense to Counter Intrusion while prioritizing reliability in outdoor environments.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of firmware development in C.
- Strong knowledge of ARM and RISC-V MCUs.
- Experience with RTOS and bare-metal programming.
- Proficient with JTAG, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- US person status with eligibility for US security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and extend firmware on sensor boards and motor controllers.
- Build on top of the existing firmware baselayer without regressing deployed towers.
- Harden firmware security: authenticated/verified updates and secure interfaces.
- Own the firmware update path for fielded units.
- Collaborate with tower software on the boundary between firmware and services.
- Work with hardware engineers on board bring-up and debugging from power-on to production-ready boards.
