Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer on the Manufacturing Test team to develop platforms for testing products at the lowest levels (I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, USB). You’ll work with an interdisciplinary team on test automation, data analytics, and high-quality product shipping, targeting embedded Linux, RTOS, and multiple platforms.

You will enhance test interfaces, debugging capabilities, and automated test processes for production efficiency, while solving complex data

Qualifications

BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience.
8+ years of relevant industry experience.
Strong C coding ability for embedded systems.
Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors.
Experience developing firmware in bare-metal, RTOS environments, and embedded Linux.
Solid understanding and application of coding best practices, board bring up and debugging.
Familiar with USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232/RS485, Ethernet.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Build and verify firmware for testing of hardware products.
Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontroller platforms interfacing to robots or data acquisition tools.
Enable device-side validation of system features using SSH and gRPC and debug tools.
Debug across electrical, firmware, and software boundaries and translate to automated test SOPs for production.
Participate in DFT/DFM reviews with electrical engineering and firmware teams.
