Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to develop low-level embedded software in C and build comprehensive tests. You will update requirements, write code, and create tests to verify behavior. You will work on real platforms, bring-up hardware, and collaborate across teams to ensure traceability from requirements to tests.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in firmware, strong C skills, and hands-on experience with test procedures and debugging on diverse bus protocols. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience.
• 4+ years of firmware/embedded software development experience.
• Strong C coding ability for embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing test procedures for embedded firmware.
• Solid understanding of coding best practices, board bring-up, and debugging.
• Experience with SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet.
• Familiarity with linking requirements to verification tests.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Develop low-level firmware in C for microcontrollers across product platforms.
• Design, develop, and document test procedures to verify firmware against requirements.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across electrical, firmware, and software boundaries.
• Support board bring-up and hardware-firmware integration with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain requirements traceability ensuring tests cover each requirement.
• Manage multiple projects from prototype to production.
