Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Firmware Engineer for the Manufacturing Test team to develop platforms interfacing with products at the lowest levels. You will build features for embedded Linux, RTOS, and bare-metal environments, and improve automation, throughput, and data analytics.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality test solutions and robust debugging across hardware and software boundaries, supporting production lines and new designs.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong C coding ability for embedded systems.
• Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors.
• Experience developing firmware in bare-metal, RTOS environments, and embedded Linux.
• Solid understanding and application of coding best practices.
• Familiar with USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232/RS485, Ethernet
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware/software for microcontroller platforms interfacing to robots.
• Create host/client verification code for form, fit, function.
• Device-side validation using SSH, gRPC and debug tools.
• Debug across electrical, firmware, and software boundaries and write SOPs.
• Participate in DFT/DFM reviews with EE and firmware teams.
