Job summary

Magone & Company, P.C. seeks a Firm Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, finance, HR, and administration for a growing CPA firm in New Jersey. You will coordinate budgets, staffing, technology, and vendor management while leading the administrative team and maintaining firm records.

The role emphasizes efficient processes, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration with leadership to support clients and professionals.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in office management or operations within a CPA firm.
• Experience across finance, workflow, technology, benefits, HR and administration.
• Understanding CPA firm operations: time and billing, staffing, utilization, and deadlines.
• Leadership skills with experience managing an administrative team.
• Ability to implement procedures and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day firm operations and support financial administration and HR.
• Coordinate budgets, staffing, workflows, and vendor relationships.
• Lead the administrative team and manage client and firm communications.
• Improve processes to increase efficiency and accountability.
• Support budgeting, billing, collections, and management reporting.
• Monitor utilization, realization, staffing capacity, and metrics.
