Job summary

CTG seeks a Technical Engineer IV for a remote, 12-month assignment. You will serve as a senior technical specialist supporting firewall infrastructure, Azure network engineering, and enterprise infrastructure, delivering secure, scalable solutions and leading complex deployments.

You will design, implement, and maintain firewall rules and configurations, provide guidance to junior engineers, and ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of combined education and/or professional experience in systems design and infrastructure architecture.
• 8+ years of professional experience in technical engineering involving infrastructure design and enterprise applications.
• Strong experience with firewall infrastructure engineering and firewall rule engineering.
• Strong experience with Azure network and firewall engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical specialist supporting firewall infrastructure, firewall rule engineering, Azure network/firewall engineering, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure firewall and network infrastructure solutions.
• Develop, review, and manage firewall rules, configurations, standards, and technical documentation.
• Provide advanced support for Check Point firewalls; Aviatrix experience is highly desirable.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Partner with Technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver complex initiatives.
• Perform architecture, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and production implementation activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and staff.
• Ensure solutions follow industry best practices, security standards, risk controls, and regulatory requirements.
