Job summary

CTG is seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer III to design, implement, and secure cloud and network infrastructure across Azure and AWS. You will build automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Python, and support Azure VPNs, ExpressRoute, and AWS VPCs with advanced routing and DNS.

Remote work is available for this 12‑month engagement, with strong collaboration across teams. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in engineering, expert cloud networking knowledge, and hands-on IaC experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of combined higher education and/or professional experience in systems engineering, network engineering, infrastructure design, cloud technologies, automation, or related areas.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in technical engineering involving infrastructure design, network technologies, systems integration, or complex application environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS networking.
• Advanced knowledge of routing, DNS, firewalls, network segmentation, and hybrid‑cloud connectivity.
• Demonstrated experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Ansible and Python automation.
• Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise network and cloud environments.
• Advanced technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical and business requirements into high‑quality technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud and network infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Develop and maintain network automation solutions using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
• Design and support Azure networking services, including VNets, Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints, Azure Firewall, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Private DNS, and Network Security Groups.
• Design and support AWS networking services, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, Network Load Balancers, Application Load Balancers, Network Firewall, Security Groups, and NACLs.
