Job summary

Paradigm Corp. is seeking a full-time, remote IT Network Engineer III to design, implement, and support enterprise firewall‑centric networks in a hybrid on‑premises and cloud environment.

You will act as a senior contributor ensuring high availability, security, and performance across the enterprise. Responsibilities include configuring firewall policies, VPNs, and NAT, plus coordinating with security and cloud teams to deliver integrated infrastructure and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of enterprise network engineering experience with senior-level responsibility for firewall and network platforms.
• Experience leading firewall policy redesigns, segmentation initiatives, or security-driven changes.
• Owning and operating next-generation enterprise firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, or equivalent).
• Proficiency with network monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and packet analysis tools.
• Experience integrating on-premises firewall and network infrastructure with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and support enterprise firewall-centric network infrastructure.
• Engineer, configure, and maintain firewall policies, NAT rules, VPNs, and segmentation.
• Implement secure connectivity across on-premises data centers, cloud environments, and third-party integrations.
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity of the network; perform troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Lead or contribute to complex network initiatives including upgrades and migrations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure successful delivery of network solutions.
