General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is hiring Lead Firearms Instructors to serve as the on-site training manager for the FFDO program.

You will conduct classroom instruction, administer the approved TSA safety brief, and ensure students understand the briefing and equipment use. The role requires 5+ years of firearms training experience, a relevant degree or equivalent training, and completing federal firearms instructor programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of firearms training experience.
• Associates Degree or the equivalent education/training.
• Completion of a recognized federal firearms instructor training program acceptable by TSA/FAMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom instruction and safety briefings for FFDO training.
• Verify weapons and credentials before training commences.
• Maintain instructor/student ratio of 1:6 during sessions.
• Secure SSI and SPII data and manage training records.
