Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Senior Sprinkler Install Technician to independently install fire sprinkler systems and ensure compliance with NFPA standards. The role involves reading blueprints, using installation tools, and safely managing job sites.

The Senior Technician may mentor entry-level technicians, travel to sites, and uphold high safety standards while delivering quality work across commercial environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in fire and life safety as a technician.
• NICET II or higher preferred; strong knowledge of installation practices and codes.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for installation projects.
• Use hand tools and installation equipment to complete tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Complete documentation and installation reports accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Guide and support entry-level technicians and apprentices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
