Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Sprinkler Install Lead Technician to lead projects and supervise junior technicians while performing installations.

You will interpret blueprints, ensure NFPA and local code compliance, coordinate multiple small jobs, train team members on site, and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Travel to job sites as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years in fire and life safety as a technician or above.
• 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
• NICET Level II or above preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler installation practices and codes.
• Clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Support technicians and apprentices on job sites.
• Independently perform installation using hand tools and equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications for installation projects.
• Plan and manage multiple small-scale jobs.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
