Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Install Technician to independently install fire sprinkler systems on commercial and industrial sites. You will interpret blueprints, use installation tools, and ensure NFPA and local code compliance while documenting work accurately.

The role requires 3+ years in fire and life safety, a clean driving record, and the ability to travel to sites. A NICET Level I or higher is preferred; on-site safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in fire and life safety as apprentice or technician.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Strong understanding of fire sprinkler system installation practices.
• Clean driving record and active driver’s license if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings and specs for projects.
• Use hand tools and installation equipment to complete tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Complete required documentation and installation reports on time.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment; follow safety policies.
• Support entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed.
• Travel to job sites as required.
