Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is hiring a Senior Sprinkler Install Technician in Mobile, AL. The role focuses on independently installing fire sprinkler systems, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring compliance with NFPA standards.

The technician will guide entry-level staff and travel to job sites as needed. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fire and life safety, NICET II or higher preferred, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years' experience in fire and life safety as a technician.
• NICET Level II or higher preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler installation and codes.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license if required.

Responsibilities

• Independently install fire sprinkler systems.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for installation projects.
• Use hand tools and installation equipment to complete tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Complete installation reports accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
• Guide and support entry-level technicians and apprentices.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
