Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Engineer III for our Mission Critical practice in New York. You will design and document fire sprinkler systems, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with project teams while ensuring code compliance and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications include a PE license, a Bachelor's in engineering, and strong Revit/Bluebeam proficiency. NY-based location with on-site work and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or architectural engineering; 6 years of relevant experience or 8 years with high school diploma.
• PE license required; may be counted toward experience.
• FE exam completion preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of design, codes, standards; proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and designs for basic to advanced building systems with a high degree of independence.
• Prepare layouts, drawings and schematics; review shop drawings.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced designers.
• Support project management activities and coordinate with teams.
