Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Engineer III to design basic to advanced building systems and prepare design documents. You will coordinate with project teams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development efforts.

The role requires a PE license, strong Revit/Bluebeam skills, and the ability to lead in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities include performing engineering calculations, creating layouts, reviewing drawings, and supporting project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 6 years of relevant experience or 8 years with a high school diploma.
• PE license required; FE exam preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs calculations and designs basic to advanced engineering systems with independence.
• Prepares system layouts, drawings and schematics.
• Reviews shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Mentors less experienced designers and acts as a team leader.
• Participates in client and industry events to build relationships.
