Job summary

Aims Community College seeks a leader to manage the Fire Science degree and certificate programs, provide strategic oversight of CPAT, and support the Public Safety department with minimal supervision.

You will supervise instructors, coordinate scheduling, ensure safety and accreditation standards, recruit faculty, advise students, and manage program compliance; building partnerships with agencies and overseeing drill ground and testing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science or related field with four years of related experience, including supervisory experience.
• Must be able to drive a company vehicle for business travel and pass MVR.
• Excellent organizational and relationship-building skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Fire Science degree, certificate, and CPAT programs.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, and supervise full-time and part-time instructors and staff.
• Ensure safety standards, accreditation, and compliance requirements are met.
• Coordinate scheduling, advising, book orders, and program evaluation.
