Job summary

EXP is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our growing MEP/FP team. This role can be located anywhere in the US and involves leading design and coordination of fire protection systems across aviation, healthcare, hospitality, federal, and large commercial facilities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field, 8+ years’ experience, a PE license, and strong leadership with client management skills; proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related discipline.
8+ years of experience in fire protection engineering for building projects.
Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
Experience with automatic sprinkler design, standpipes, pumps, special hazard systems, fire alarm and life safety coordination.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and engineering of fire protection systems for diverse building projects.
Perform hydraulic calculations and code analyses to ensure compliance.
Coordinate with architects, structural, M/E/P disciplines and AHJs.
Mentor junior engineers and oversee QA/QC.
Support business development and client presentations.
