Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to lead multi‑discipline projects, focusing on safe design and delivery of state‑of‑the‑art facilities. You will develop Water Spray/Sprinkler and foam systems and oversee safety planning across large industrial sites.

The role requires a PE license, 10–20% travel, and expertise from concept to construction. A Master’s is a plus, with mentoring of junior staff and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage resources.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Navisworks and Revit/MEP.
• Experience mentoring junior staff.
• Experience with full project lifecycle from design through construction.
• Professional Engineer license (PE).
• Ability to travel 10–20% of time.
