Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to support federal construction projects at Fort Hood, TX.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited college.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of Fire Protection Engineering experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of UFC 3-600-01, NFPA standards, and fire/life safety requirements.
- USACE or other federal project experience, preferred.
- Experience with quality assurance, commissioning, and acceptance testing of fire protection systems.
Responsibilities
- Establish understanding of UFC 3-600-01 and NFPA fire protection standards.
- Attend meetings and coordinate with stakeholders for fire protection features.
- Perform reviews and apply lessons from all project phases.
- Conduct inspections per project docs and contract requirements.
- Evaluate practices to ensure code compliance and safety.
