Job summary

Bristol Industries LLC seeks an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to provide independent, timely support for planning, design, construction, and maintenance of Navy and other facilities. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders across disciplines to ensure system integration and code compliance for complex projects.

• 5+ years of professional engineering code-compliant facilities design experience for new construction or renovation projects.
• Familiarity with DoD and Navy guide specifications, UFC, NFPA, IBC/IMC/IRC standards.
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders, lead teams and present design results.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, timely, and professional fire protection engineering support for planning, design, construction, and maintenance of Navy, Marine Corps, and other facilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other disciplines to ensure system coordination and project requirements are met.
• Address life-safety, construction types, and code-compliance in fire protection design for multi-story and complex facilities.
