Qualifications

• Registration as Professional Engineer in Fire Protection Engineering is desired.
• In-depth knowledge of fire protection engineering concepts and practices for design and maintenance.
• Familiarity with UFC, NFPA, IBC/IMC/IRC, FM Global, and other industry standards.
• Knowledge of US federal/state/local laws and DoD/Navy requirements affecting design.
• Ability to present designs and study results; lead teams and coordinate with architects.

Responsabilités

• Provide independent fire protection engineering support for planning, design, construction and maintenance of facilities for Navy/Marine Corps and other commands.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and disciplines to ensure system coordination and requirements.
• Address life safety, fire protection design, and related analyses for complex, multi-story facilities.
