Bristol Alliance of Companies seeks a Fire Protection Engineer to provide independent, timely support for planning, design, construction, and maintenance of Navy facilities. You will collaborate with stakeholders and other disciplines to ensure integrated, compliant systems across life safety, sprinklers, fire alarms, and mass notification.

Required is 5+ years of engineering experience, ABET-accredited degree, and knowledge of DoD/Navy standards.

Qualifications

• Registration as Professional Engineer (PE) in Fire Protection Engineering is desired.
• Substantial professional knowledge of fire protection engineering concepts and design practices.
• Knowledge of DoD/Navy guide specs, UFC, NFPA, IBC/IMC/IRC standards.
• Knowledge of laws/codes affecting fire protection design in NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic AOR.
• Ability to present design concepts and study results.
• Experience with Autodesk software, MS Office and DoD engineering tools.

Responsabilités

• Provide independent, timely fire protection engineering support for Navy facilities and related projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and other disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
• Contribute to life safety, fire protection systems, spray fireproofing, fire alarm and mass notification design.
• Manage projects and lead teams with budgeting and planning awareness.
