Job summary

PAE Consulting Engineers Inc is seeking a Lead Fire Protection Engineer to oversee the design, coordination, and delivery of fire protection systems for various building types. The role can be performed remotely or in one of our national offices, with duties including leading project teams, client coordination, and producing calculations, drawings, and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Professional credential such as PE or CPD.
• 7+ years of related work experience in fire protection.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to deliver on time and within budget.
• Prepare narratives, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate internal/external teams.
• Apply engineering judgment from concept to construction.
• Oversee design of fire protection systems and equipment selection.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff.
• Develop client relationships and ensure QMP compliance.
