Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer with 10+ years of consulting engineering and project management experience. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player eager for a challenging role within a dynamic firm. Responsibilities include providing fire protection engineering services for external and internal clients, utilizing technical skills in fire protection systems design and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution
• Fire Protection Engineering License (any U.S. state)
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Willingness to travel (~20%)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities and Skills

• Analyze existing fire protection systems and design new systems (suppression, detection, alarms, mass notification)
• Interpret building and fire codes
• Manage client relationships and project deliverables
• Supervise internal projects and external client needs
• Conduct research and document findings
• Perform peer reviews
• Participate in professional organizations such as SFPE and NFPA
