Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions in Santee, CA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee fire and life safety system projects from kickoff to commissioning. You will coordinate field operations, work with sales and installation teams, and ensure design, installation, and client handoff meet quality standards.

The role requires 2–5 years in construction PM, strong code knowledge, hands-on leadership, and excellent communication. NICET certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of project management experience in construction.
• Strong working knowledge of applicable code requirements.
• Customer-centric, proficient in PM and team leadership.
• Ability to estimate and propose change orders.
• Ability to read and interpret system designs and blueprints.
• OSHA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases, coordinating workers, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure project is on schedule and within budget; identify overruns.
• Assist in estimate development and confirm contract scope.
• Maintain open communication with customers and project partners.
• Review drawings for regulatory conformance and specs.
• Manage budgets, cost-to-completes, and billings with finance.
• Ensure PPE and safety programs are followed.
