Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions seeks an experienced Fire Systems Project Manager to oversee low voltage system projects from design through commissioning. You will coordinate the field operations, interface with sales, installation teams, and clients to ensure sound design, seamless installation, and high-quality execution.

The role requires attention to detail in planning, scheduling, and cost control, with strong communication and leadership skills to manage staff and customer interfaces

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience with commercial fire detection/fire suppression systems.
• Two to five years of experience as a project manager in the fire and security industry.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA72 code requirements.
• NICET Level II certification.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage project schedules and budgets with focus on quality.
• Experience interfacing with clients, contractors, and end users.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases including coordinating workers, materials, and equipment within budget and schedule.
• Review design drawings for conformance with regulations and standards.
• Provide guidance to field operations and engineering teams.
• Manage project schedules and manpower planning forecasts.
• Interface with customers, contractors, end users, and fire marshals.
• Coordinate installations and commissioning for assigned projects.
• Perform field surveys and read system designs on blueprints.
• Read project specifications and estimate/change orders as needed.
• Provide monthly updates on budgets and cost to completes.
• Manage job costs, billing, and margins.
• Lead a team and demonstrate leadership qualities.
